The principal components of this star system are the stars 'MCG490.A' and 'MCG490.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'MCG490.A' is a red giant class star that contains about 83% of the system's known mass, 'MCG490.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 16% of the system's known mass.
