The principal component of this star system is the star 'MDJ379', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 99.77% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. MDJ379 is located more than 2819 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

MDJ379.5, the fifth planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 263K (-10C) and it's atmosphere contains 9% of oxygen. One year on MDJ379.5 lasts 2119 days, one day lasts 24 hours. It's diameter is 10002 km, 0.7 times the diameter of the Earth.
