The principal component of this star system is the star 'RKD577', a yellow dwarf class star that contains about 99.01% of the system's known mass and dominates it gravitationally. RKD577 is located more than 503 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.

RKD577.3, the third planet in this system, may feature life forms. Its average temperature is 282K (9C) and it's atmosphere contains 5% of oxygen. One year on RKD577.3 lasts 920 days, one day lasts 29 hours. It's diameter is 23022 km, 1.8 times the diameter of the Earth.
