The principal components of this star system are the stars 'VAC402.A' and 'VAC402.B' that dominate it gravitationally. 'VAC402.A' is a red giant class star that contains about 61% of the system's known mass, 'VAC402.B' is a red giant class star that contains about 38% of the system's known mass.

System 'VAC402' is located more than 1440 lightyears from the center of the galaxy.
